Mario Kart 8 Deluxe has several vehicle classes, including:
Very Light: Babies- Babies Daisy, Mario, Rosalina, Peach, Luigi, and Lemmy Koopa Light: Toad, Koopa Troopa, all colors of Shy Guy, Lakitu, Toadette, Larry Koopa, Isabelle, and Wendy Koopa Medium: Cat Peach, Villagers Male and Female, Princess Peach, Princess Daisy, all colors of Yoshi, Tanooki Mario, Mario, Luigi, Koopas Ludwig and Iggy Heavy: Rosalina, Donkey Kong, Waluigi, Roy Koopa, and Link. Very Heavy: Gold Mario, Metal Mario, Pink Gold Peach, Bowser, Dry Bowser, Wario, and Morton Koopa All: Mii
The characters introduced to the game include the Inklings (boy and girl), Gold Mario, Bowser Junior, King Boo, and Dry Bones. Most of these have been brought back from older games, having not been in Mario Kart 8. These characters include Bowser Junior, King Boo, and Dry Bones. All of these characters were in either Mario Kart 7 or Wii.
